Performance Aircraft started in 2004 by founder and President Bill Heckathorn. Using his experience as a flight instructor, FBO manager, and new and used aircraft sales representative; Bill focused on providing a refreshing alternative in aircraft sales and acquisition services.

Given his background in the industry, Bill understands the ins and outs of aircraft ownership, positioning and marketing aircraft, and working with overseas buyers. He offers special insight into the late model Cessna market and helping first time aircraft owners.

With a vision to enable Nebraskans to enjoy the benefits of flight through top quality, safety first pilot training; he expanded Performance Aircraft in 2006 by opening a Cessna Pilot Center. Located inside Silverhawk Aviation at the Lincoln Municipal Airport (KLNK) in Lincoln, NE; Performance offers professional flight training and aircraft rental. See map below for directions.

In 2009, Performance Aircraft added Stacey Allison to assist in Aircraft Sales. With her attention to detail and her expertise in customer service, she takes great pride in helping buyers and sellers and providing them a positive experience.
